This farm consists of about 124 acres terraced, gently sloping cropland in 4 fields, with the rest of the farm being native grass pasture with ponds, and some timbered draws and brushy areas. The cropland is nearly all Crete soils. There is an old farmstead in the northeast corner.
There are 48.7 acres planted to soybeans, 40.3 acres planted to milo, and 35 acres presently in wheat.
The FSA bases and yields are 49 acres wheat, 34 bushels; 73 acres milo, 64 bushels; and 12 acres soybeans, 21 bushels. The 2008 taxes are $1,601.28.
